Bundling

The bundling process is intended to be run at specific times with infrequent intervals, e.g. once a day at a particular time. The default implementation of this process uses a Timer object that runs the CCM_Bundling standard process once a day at 2 AM. To change the time at which process runs, follow these steps:

  1. In the Navigator upper pane, select the folder. In the Navigator lower pane, find and double-click CCM_Bundling.

The process appears in the central pane.

  2. Double-click the Timer object in the central pane.
  3. In the dialog that appears, adjust the timer settings and then click OK.

The Timer property dialog box does not save specific checked days for long-term iterations in certain months or long-term iterations in all months.

  4. Click the Save button in the upper left corner to save the changes.

The changes are saved in the process itself and only affect the Bundling component of CCM_Bundling.

Timer objects are not suitable for running processes frequently with small intervals, for example, less than an hour apart. If the bundling process must be run frequently at small intervals then it should use a loop containing sleep statements that implement the interval instead of a timer object.

Also, you can use the Bundling component configuration functions to change the process behavior (see the section Bundling component functions in the Kofax Communications Manager Batch & Output Management Scripting Language Developer's Guide).
