Error report settings

This and the next one sections describe the settings that can be set with Other Settings option on the Project Configuration tab. With this option you can configure the Create Master Template process.

These settings are rarely used, and therefore are not often added to the Other Settings option.

The error report settings influence the appearance of the error document and adjust its look and feel. The following settings can be used:

Setting Default Description
ITPERRORCOLORS 6,6 With this setting you can change the color of errors and include markers in a Microsoft Word error document. The value must be specified as x,y where x is the color for errors and y is the color for include statements. Possible values are:
  1. Black
  2. Blue
  3. Cyan
  4. Green
  5. Magenta
  6. Red
  7. Yellow
  8. White
  9. Dark Blue
  10. Dark Cyan
  11. Dark Magenta
  12. Dark Red
  13. Dark Yellow
  14. Dark Grey
  15. Light Grey

This option only has effect on error documents for Microsoft Word and HTML Master Template documents.

ITPMAXERRORS 15 Number of errors to report before terminating compilation.
ITPSTRICTLANGUAGE Y Enable the PAR4299 warning that will be reported if KCM finds illegal characters in the Master Template document. This warning will appear if the Master Template contains statements like ASSIGN x := @(y).
