How to prepare Xerox printer for Printix Go
These preparations are only necessary for the following printers and MFPs: AltaLink models and EC8036/EC8056 models.
- Open the printer's web page and log in as admin.
- Select the Properties tab.
- On the menu, select Login/ Permissions/ Accounting, then select Login Methods.
- Select Edit next to Control Panel & Website Login Methods.
- Make sure Xerox Secure Access is configured.
- If the Control Panel Login list appears, select Convenience Authentication.
- If the Alternate Control Panel Login option appears, select Enabled.
- Select Save.
