Export data with Printix Configurator

Use the Printix Configurator to export all configuration data associated with your Printix Home.

  1. In the Printix Configurator, select File > Export Printix Configuration.

    The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. Save the configuration file to a convenient location.

    The export process may be time-consuming. Ensure that you allocate enough time for the process to finish.

    The default configuration file name is PrintixConfiguration.zip, which contains the following .json files:

    • CaptureWorkflows.json: Data related to capture workflows.

    • Computers.json: Computer-related configuration data.

    • GeneralSettings.json: General configuration data that does not fit in the other categories.

    • Groups.json: Group-related configuration data.

    • History.json: Historical data related to systems and documents.

    • Networks.json: Network-related configuration data.

    • Printers.json: Printer-related configuration data.

    • PrintixGoConfigurations.json: Data related to the Printix Go configuration for printers.

    • Sites.json: Site-related configuration data.

    • Users.json: User-related configuration data.
